Friends of JAMD: Reaching Higher, Creating Change.
We support JAMD because every leap, every note, and every movement is more than performance.
We support JAMD because every leap, every note, and every movement is more than performance.
JAMD carries a sacred trust from the State of Israel: to awaken a generation of artists who use their gifts not only to create, but to heal, to connect, and to draw humanity closer.
Inside these halls, people who may walk separate paths outside find themselves woven together by rhythm, movement, and shared purpose. Arabic and Hebrew are spoken inside the walls.
People of every faith and culture, discovering that art dissolves boundaries far faster than history can build them.
This is more than an academy.
It is a sanctuary of possibility; a place where coexistence is not theorized but lived, where harmony is not just heard but felt, and where a better future becomes imaginable the moment we dare to listen to one another.

JAMD is a microcosm of Jerusalem’s diversity, a place where Jewish, Christian, and Muslim students learn, create, and perform together.
Here, young artists from Israel, the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas collaborate daily—proving through music and dance that human connection transcends politics, religion, and borders.
Every rehearsal, performance, and shared stage becomes a living testament that empathy and creativity can unite people where dialogue alone often fails.
“When you walk through our halls, you hear Bach, jazz, oud, and darbuka all at once, different traditions sharing the same heartbeat.”
The new Ari Kushner Building expands JAMD’s state-of-the-art campus, featuring:
This modern architecture was designed with transparency and light, symbolizing openness, dialogue, and creative flow between disciplines.
